What is Glamping ?
Glamping is a lifestyle that began to popularize in the early 2000s, but its history can be traced back to Genghis Khan. In the 1960s, Mongol tribes lived in yurts (types of Mongol tents) that were decorated with all the essential foundations of mobile homes. In the 1900s, European and American explorers in Africa lived in posh safari tents decorated with Persian rugs and antique furniture. While glamping doesn’t have to be a new idea, that notion is. Glamping is a mixture of glamor and camping. Glamping adds a touch of luxury to camping. Modern travelers crave communication with nature, but discomfort is the enemy of camping. There are many ways to camp, but most traditional ones involve all kinds of activities such as setting up tents and lighting fires. Add to that camping some inconveniences like annoying insects and the inconvenience of sleeping on the ground, and camping for once no longer looks so tempting. Here’s where glamping goes into the story that will forever change your camping experience. In Glamping, the facilities, mostly tents designed like five-star resorts, are equipped with basic amenities, including kitchens and fully functional bathrooms with showers, air conditioning, and even free WiFi to connect you with your friends and family whenever you want. . This is an introduction to the topic of my blog and I hope an introduction to my business with Glamping Farm in Croatia.
